17th century. Dzungars invaded the quiet life of one Kazakh family during their attacks on the Kazakh khanates.
They killed the head of the family and kidnapped his wife's child. Korlan had to follow him across the steppe, meanwhile fighting off enemies and defending her random home, which she found to take shelter in bad weather or when she is seriously injured. If the home is destroyed, Korlan will die.
With each defeated enemy, her will grew stronger. Will she be able to reach the end to return what was taken from her and avenge the death of her beloved?
